By now, your business should have a logo. If not, it is time to start thinking of one. Your logo is a symbol, graphic mark, or emblem that identifies your company, your vending platform, or your products and services. It should be simple and easily identifiable. This article details the steps to change and customize your logo.
There are 4 basic types of logos:
- Lettermark: This type is the simplest as it is made up of the initials of the company. This can be seen in the logos of CNN, IBM, and UBA. This is generally used by companies that have very long names
- Wordmark: This contains the full name of the company. This is can also be simple to create. This can be seen in the logos of Google, Cocacola, and Paystack
- Brandmark: This is generally an image. The image might be abstract, landscape, or an adaptation of any form of art. This can be seen in the logos of Toyota, Apple, and Starbucks
- Combination Mark: This is the combination of two or all of the above types. This can be seen in BMW, Adidas, and Amazon
Logo Locations on the VendApp
Logos are placed in strategic locations all over the VendApp. They can be found in the following places:
- Login page
- On top of every page
- On top of the left menu as seen on the desktop or tablet devices
How to Change Your Logo on VendApp
To change your logo on VendApp, follow these steps:
- Login to VendApp as an Admin
- Visit Admin Console -> Domain Logo
- You can then upload your logos for each of the logo positions.
- Side Menu Logo: The logo on the top left side menu
- Page Top Logo: This is the logo that is visible on top of all the pages
- Login Page Logo: This is the logo that is visible on top of the login page
- Click on File Selection input
- Select the desired logo
- Click Upload to change your logo
- If the logo does not show up immediately, clear your browser cache and refresh
As with many of your assets, it is generally best not to change your brand too frequently to allow your clients to get accustomed to your business.
